Cecile with her INA friends had a great dinner in one of the most famous Teppanyaki restaurants in Shanghai.

Here in Shanghai, I can choose every day among a wide range of Chinese and international cuisines: Cantonese, French, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Shanghainese, Tai…But one of my favorites is the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant.
In the city there are a lot these kinds of restaurants: you only need to write down “teppanyaki restaurant” in one of the websites about Shanghai and you can choose one of the several addresses.

Last night I went there with my new INA friends: not only did I enjoy my dinner with them, but I also ate a lot of
good-tasting food. In the Teppanyaki restaurant this is the “All you can eat and drink” rule: you can order whatever you want at 180 RMB more or less!
The menu offers sushi, sashimi, noodles and mostly the Teppanyaki grill meat and fish served with mushroom soup, salad, shrimp, vegetables, fried rice. Every table has its personal cook, who prepares all the dishes in front of you. All of it tastes so good!!!But don’t forget a bottle of Sake… or more, the Japanese drink!! I prefer drinking it hot, but also cold is good.

The dinner was also a good chance to get to know each other, to talk about our life here in Shanghai, our experiences…and to give a great welcome to the new INA interns!
So when you are in Shanghai, be sure to go to a Teppanyaki restaurant…you will have a lot of fun!!!
