It also publishes periodicals such as Kerala Tourism Monthly, Tourism Maldives Quarterly, Tourism India Monthly Edition and Brand Kerala Business Magazine! You will be based in the bustling city of Trivandrum in the southern state of Kerala. Our journalism project is a highly flexible one and you can use your own creativity to incorporate new ideas. You'll work as a Journalist and/or Photojournalist in a Magazine in the heart of the capital city of Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram. The project offer work in both Journalism and Photojournalism and you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grown within this placement under the supervision of an experienced editorial team.

Tourism India Magazine is the most sought-after travel and tourism monthly in India, covering the whole spectrum of global travel and tourism with a special focus on the theme ‘Incredible India’. Comprehensively covering all tourism-related locations and events and fearlessly and objectively evaluating all issues in the sector, it has gained universal acclaim as one of the most valued members of the Indian Fourth Estate. Tourism India Magazine is a virtual market place where buyers and sellers, service-providers and service-seekers, freely interact for their mutual advantage.

With a readership of over 150,000 and a satisfied clientele including all leading players in travel and tourism industry, the growth of its print edition is a success story in Indian publishing. Now, the interactive digital version of the printed magazine is creating waves on the world-wide web.

  • Give help and encouragement to fresh and innovative initiatives in global tourism

Working Hours

On your first day you will be taken in by the Managing Director of the Magazine, and introduced to the staff there. You will also meet your supervisor. You will be working both individually and as part of the team.

You can take part in Content Writing, Editing, Proof Reading, Photography, Marketing etc. The volunteers will be able to write their own articles in the magazine as the magazine encourages its writers to express their views on almost any subject that deals with people and places. You would be given tasks like Proof Reading, on-field reporting, researching, designing and editing. Those having photographic skills are encouraged to take pictures for the magazine

The working hours are from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM for weekdays. The interns can work on Saturdays as well, but this is not mandatory. The working days/time is made flexible for the convenience of the interns.
